Who wants burnout and anxiety to be a part of their legal practice? Nobody does. Art Wellness Advocates programming was created by a lawyer and an artist in to improve mental health within high-stress professions with the help of effective stigma-free tools.
ABOUT
All the perceived benefits of a professional career - high compensation, respect in the community, and elevated social status - come with significant cost: enormous stress and pressure are consistently driving up rates of mental health issues, addiction and burnout.
Most agree that promoting better mental health education and practices is paramount to creating a healthier, stronger and more resilient professional culture, but the questions are:
where to start?
how to design a program that best fits a busy workplace?
how to avoid the usual stigma attached to mental health issues?

OUR GOAL IS TO TRANSFORM PROFESSIONAL WORKPLACE FROM AN UNFORGIVING HIGH-STRESS ENVIRONMENT INTO A HEALTHIER, BETTER INTEGRATED AND MORE SUSTAINABLE CULTURE.
Our methods are simple, effective, and are built on solid scientific foundation.
AWA OFFERS THREE CATEGORIES OF SERVICES:
Training and educational workshops:
Understanding the leading causes for mental health decline, anxiety, burnout and addiction among professionals is key to creating and maintaining effective wellness routines.

Similarly, learning what wellness tools to use, how to build a successful wellness practice--and why it is important--and how to measure progress, is essential for building a sustainable successful professional career.

Knowledge management is central to Art Wellness Advocates' practice--whether it is a video presentation on a particular topic, a speaking engagement geared towards a specific audience, a series of workshops, or a comprehensive seminar on building a culture of well-being on an organizational level.

Community Engagement:
Just like an individual cannot easily thrive in an unhealthy environment, a single organization is not likely to succeed in a struggling community.

Art Wellness Advocates builds a bridge between professionals and the community they call home by identifying and engaging resources for collaboration, creating networking opportunities, and growing professional bonds.

Matching professional organizations with charitable causes which allow them to maintain a significant positive footprint within their communities, and to benefit internally, is front and center with the AWA's not-for-profit projects.
